Don Papa celebrates the passion and exuberance of Papa Isio, the revolutionary hero and shaman from the island of Negros, Philippines, where it is made, and where he fought for his island’s independence. Made from ‘black gold’ molasses rum, it is aged for several years in American Oak casks in the foothills of Mount Kanlaon before being blended for a rich, smooth finish. The resultant blend showcases the original spirit of Don Papa – bursting with citrus and vanilla on the nose, it is full bodied with notes of candied fruit and honey, and has a long bold finish with a hint of spicy oak. It is perfect drunk neat, on the rocks, or in your favourite cocktail.
