Details

The typicity of the «Clos de l’Oratoire des Papes» is due to the variety of soils, a natural mosaic of land plots constituted by valleys of limestone stones, terraces of sand and pebbles on red clay. This particu- larity, associated with the exceptional exposure of the vineyards (to the sun and Mistral wind), allows us to obtain grapes of very different characters. The blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre from 25-45 year old vines, gives a powerfull, fruity and full-bodied wine, typical of the appellation.
